Opening Day

I guess yesterday was MLB officially opening day. But today was the Tiger's first day. Things didn't turn out the best for them. They ended up losing in 11 innings. Deke and I caught the end of the game. We watched most of the Cubs game as well. Yet another disappointing game the Cubs lost in extra innings too. I guess we got free baseball but both teams lost their first game. I'm sure things will turn around. Atleast we will have something to watch on TV now. That is one thing we will miss when we do leave Michigan. We will miss watching the Tigers. I think I have become a fan for life. Hopefully this year will be the Tiger or Cubs year. Deke is already starting his countdown when we will be at Wrigley watching the cubs in a few weeks. We both are looking forward to a break from Michigan! Chicago is always a good time. Atleast we enjoyed ourselves last time we were there.

Ya know what is amazing is how we begin to love the same teams as our hubbies, and be interested in something new because they are. I really didn't watch a whole lot of pro football growing up, but now I love it and go Broncos! The same goes for other things around here. THey just seem to make it more exciting and stuff. We aren't huge baseball fans at present but later on in the season we appreciate watching some good ball. Have fun at the cubs game, we're hoping to go to a Mariners game this year.

You know that Rob has been dying for baseball to start and last night he was on the computer watching the Braves and answering multiple phone calls from Richard. Ahhh...it's started!
